Jovina’s Masking Site
The site of Jovina, a cross-dressing masking fetishist, has oodles of beautiful images. (If this looks somewhat familiar, Jovina I believe is the one that introduced art-duo AIDS-3D to the fetish, which they’ve used in many installations). More from Jovina:
Mark Manders
Manders has a retrospective up in Belgium next month, but if you can’t make it, his website’s not bad. (Though most of the images are small and grainy—sucks.) And keep an eye out: He’s got a new show upcoming at Tonya Bonakdar in 2009. Via Design Boom. More work:

Matthew Ronay
Ronay is a personal favorite—to me, his art feels like visiting the attic of de Chirico’s shut-in, pervert uncle. Look out for a new solo show next February at Andrea Rosen. More work here, and after the jump:
Ant Mega-City
Fuck yeah, science! So in this video, researchers want figure out what the underground lair of some crazy ant species looks like. More great webby/arty stuff here.
Nigel Cooke
Nigel Cooke is an interesting guy. Rosen’s press releases just proclaim his cleverness rather than explaining it, but in this interview from Flash Art, he explains his painting a bit. Prompted by the interviewer about Star Wars and the decay it depicts, he manages to take the question to a fascinating place after the jump, [...]
